Slam Dunk Unveil First Wave Of Artists For 2027

2026 festival has only just left us and already we have all eyes on the 2027 schedule wondering who will be playing where. Keeping the usual traditions alive, Slam Dunk are one of the first UK festivals to drop their first wave of acts for next years edition. With a change in order for next year, Slam Dunk North will now be on its usual day of Saturday taking place at Temple Newsam on the 29th of May and South will take place on Sunday 30th May in its usual home of Hatfield.

To the line-up and I know what you’re probably thinking, how do they top last years insanely stacked bill? Well, they drop and even bigger wave of acts covering all of our desired genres starting off strong with the two table toppers Bowling For Soup and Simple Plan - pop punk royalty both in their own ways having covered every inch of globe since 1994 and 1999 respectfully. Both names are instant eye catchers looking at this drop and you know the levels of fun that will be pumped into both sets. Joining them on what we can assume is all main stage acts will be Slam Dunk regulars Less Than Jake and The Interrupters as well as a UK exclusive reunion of the incredible Real Big Fish.

Looks like we have the return of the heavy stage once again this year with the huge Killswitch Engage getting people talking. Else where the likes of Beartooth and Wage War will be sure to bring their usual riff fuelled energy to the Slam Dunk faithful. Sleeping With Sirens will also see a return to the UK festival circuit along side notable names on that stage with the likes of The Used and We The Kings

Concluding with this drop and focusing on the lower down stages on the setup - a headline set from The Front Bottoms might genuinely be the most perfect kick start to festival season we all need. Four Year Strong, Trophy Eyes and Knuckle Puck all joining that stage, all 3 bands you just know will raise the volume a few thousand decibels and that’ll just be the noise from fans singing. Last but certainly not least a stage I may assume will be the Key Club Stage - Hot Milk will cause their usual chaos with their ferocious Manchester charm. Mouth Culture and As December Falls both make a return to the Slam Dunk fields and we also welcome a newbie to our family with Aussie rising stars Redhook who will make their Slam Dunk debut.

Next years festival is already shaped up to be a huge one - every year Slam Dunk finishes, I ask the same question, how do these guys go a level up and each time they answer with mammoth bills like this. All tickets and VIP add-ons will be available only through an app-exclusive limited pre-sale starting from 10am on Friday the 2nd October for 48 hours only before remaining tickets go on general sale on the usual sites from 10am Monday. Payments plans will also be an option for those who wish to split the cost between now and May’s event.
