Jeremy Zucker has been on the rise in many genres and differentiations for about a decade now, and is celebrating that milestone with his latest album and tour, Garden State. Being a frequent collaborator with Chelsea Cutler, as well as other notable names such as Quinn XCII, blackbear, and Tate McCrae, he has found many ways to make himself a staple in the modern music industry. Known for his addictive vocals, dream-like melodies, and variety of sound, he has made a noteworthy album with relatable lyrics that anyone who has left their childhood home can relate to with tears.
The National in Richmond, Virginia, was one of many stops Jeremy made for the anticipated Garden State tour. With this being a tour and album based on New Jersey, everything in the promotionals and merch were New Jersey themed, adding a level of uniqueness to the tour aesthetic. Texas native Sydney Ross Mitchell served as the opening act and provided soft acoustic songs that were easy to resonate with, giving fans in attendance a new artist to follow, as well as preparing them for the evening ahead.
When Jeremy made his way to the stage, fans showed their love as he opened with the first track and release from the first album, “hometown”. These vocals and soft guitar beats set the mood for what was in store! While this latest album is one of Jeremy’s softer pieces of work, he did not shy away from his louder tracks, as he performed some upbeat fan favorites like “all the kids are depressed”, “lakehouse”, and his highest streamed song, “comethru”. He also played a good amount of the new album, with highlights coming from new songs “navy blue”
and “letting go”. Jeremy was also very interactive with the crowd, asking who had a good and bad day, and allowing some fans to share their reasoning. It is always nice to see an artist talk casually with their crowds, as it shows they truly love what they do. Jeremy Zucker is no stranger to this love for his fans.

One notable moment would have to be Jeremy pointing out that his wife and dog were in attendance sitting in the balcony, which was absolutely adorable! He further confirmed his recent announcement that they are expecting, which just added to the specialty of the night. There were many moments he could be caught staring at his wife during songs, which again, was absolutely adorable. Jeremy capped off the night with an encore consisting of “Therapist”, new song “natural disaster”, and fan favorite “supercuts”. Having been in this industry for a decade, Jeremy Zucker proved that he still has so much left to give, and his storytelling and musical attributes are only improving!
