10.29.26 - Munich, Germany
“Und vielleicht sollte es so sein”: maybe it really should have been this way. That’s how it felt at Philipp Lumpp’s Munich show, the second-to-last stop of the Fliegermädchen-Tour 2026. “Fliegermädchen” roughly means “airplane girl," and it was a night full of energy and emotions. In the intimate, alternative setting of SUNNY RED, about 200 fans enjoyed a show where light-up wristbands and stage effects turned this underground venue into a glowing, shared experience.
The opener
The evening began with Amyy, a soulful pop artist whose set varied from emotional ballads to a modern pop sound. The crowd welcomed her warmly and clearly enjoyed her music.
The main set
Philipp opened his show with his 2026 title track “Fliegermädchen,” and the mood was sky-high from the very first note. The setlist mixed upbeat hits and emotional ballads such as “Es ist okay”, “Wenn du gehst”, “Lieder über Liebe” and “Berlin”. The audience danced and sang along constantly, and the glowing wristbands made the whole atmosphere feel captivating and vivid. For most of the evening, they lit up in sync with the songs, and at one point, Philipp invited the fans to pick a color of their own, and the room turned into a patchwork of glowing lights.
For a couple of songs, Philipp played alone with just his acoustic guitar, without Anna and Pascal, his band. It was a more intimate stretch of the night, which gave the fans a more personal feeling, bringing them closer to him and to the lyrics.
For the final songs, everyone in the room, Philipp included, sat down on the floor for an emotional finale, including his ballad “Mantra”.
Merch and meet-and-greet
Before and after the concert, the fans had the chance to browse his new merch (especially his own hoodie and T-shirt collection made in cooperation with a textile designer) and several tour-themed postcards. Afterwards, Philipp stayed to talk with the fans, signed autographs, and took photos, which gave the evening a warm, personal finish.
