The All-American Rejects are Bringing Back House Shows
The All-American Rejects are a legacy band of the emo pop punk scene of the early 2000’s. With hit songs that hit everyone hard with nostalgia like “Gives You Hell” and “Dirty Little Secret”. The pop punk scene is known for their gritty house shows that help with getting ears to their music. The All-American Rejects are getting back to their roots with a tour rooted in house shows. With the rising costs of concert tickets the idea of shows that are easily accessible (free or $5 tickets) for fans, is of great value and interest.
The lead singer and bassist Tyson Ritter took to Instagram to promote the release of “Sandbox” which led to a Southern California house show that went viral in late April. It blew up so much that they announced a ‘house party’ tour in the Midwest.

Here’s the catch, you’ll get the address day of. The first show was at a university in Green Bay, Wisconsin. They did another show on a farm in Ames, Iowa. The most recent show was a backyard house show in East Nashville, Tennessee.
The show in Tennessee had so much traction that they had 16,000 RSVPs and a location leak. They were quick to work and fix it though. They live-streamed it for anyone who couldn’t make it to the new location.

For so long now it has seemed that larger corporations are prioritizing making money over the fan experience.
